About

Ibrahim Yildirim (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from Istanbul Technical University, Turkey, in 2017 and 2019, respectively. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree at Koç University, Turkey. He is now Graduate Research Fellow at the Broadband Communications Research Lab at McGill University, Canada. He is concurrently a Research and Teaching Assistant at Istanbul Technical University. He received the Exemplary Reviewer Award of the IEEE Transactions on Communications in 2021. He is also a co-recipient of the Best Paper Award from the IEEE LATINCOM 2020.

His current research interests include MIMO systems and reconfigurable intelligent surfaces. He has been serving as a Reviewer for IEEE Journal On Selected Areas In Communications, IEEE Transactions on Communications, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, and IEEE Communications Letters.
